Amendment to the Act on the Limitation of Cash Payments

Effective 1 July 2023, the permitted amount of cash payment in the Slovak Republic will be unified to 15,000 EUR for all entities. Cash payments exceeding 15,000 EUR are prohibited.

In this context, we would like to add that the restriction on cash payments does not apply in the current period. The reason is the fact that 2 emergency situations are currently declared in the Slovak Republic. Until they are finished, the restriction on cash payments does not apply.
